How many days do I need for the Imperial Cities?
We recommend 5-7 days for the full circuit, which can be combined with the Sahara or Chefchaouen. Tell us your total trip length and we will tailor the itinerary.

What is the best time of year to visit Fes and the Imperial Cities?
Spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) are the most comfortable for city walking. Summer is hot in Marrakech, and winter is mild but can be rainy in the north.
How much walking is involved?
Expect plenty of walking through the medinas of Fes, Rabat, and Meknes - comfortable shoes are a must. Where helpful, private transport covers the longer distances between sites.
