How the day goes

Morning: pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech and drive into the Atlas foothills — roughly three hours each way through olive groves and Amazigh villages.

Midday: arrive at the falls, which drop around 100 metres in a series of cascades. Walk the rim path to the top viewpoints, then descend the stepped trail past cafés and viewpoints to the pools below. Wild Amazigh macaques live around the site — watch, don't feed.

Afternoon: lunch with a falls view (at your own expense), then the optional small boat ride toward the base of the cascades — seasonal, paid locally, and the closest you will get to the water. Time for the lower viewpoints and photos before the walk back up.

Evening: return drive to Marrakech and drop-off. Short on time on foot? Our guided Ouzoud camel ride covers the same valley at camel pace.
