Mirleft: The Quiet South Coast
Wild beaches, rock coves and village calm — Mirleft is where the Atlantic coast slows right down, south of Agadir.
Beaches without the resorts
Mirleft is a string of sandy coves and cliffs around a small fishing town — no big hotels, no promenade crowds, just ocean, rock formations and a village that moves at walking pace. Surfers, paragliders and beach walkers share the sand with working fishing boats.
It works as a rest stop between Agadir and the deep south, or paired with Tiznit inland. If your trip needs two days of doing almost nothing beside the ocean, this is where we put them.
Highlights
- Wild beaches — a chain of coves from the village outward.
- Rock formations — cliffs and arches along the shore path.
- Fishing port — small boats and the morning landing.
- Beach walks — kilometres of sand in both directions.
- Village evenings — cafés, grilled fish, early nights.

How to get there
Mirleft is reached by coastal road south of Agadir, with buses and grand taxis from Agadir and Tiznit. With Abrid, the drive and the seaside stay are part of your southern route.
How long to stay
We recommend one to two nights — enough for the beaches and the village rhythm. It is a rest stop, not a sightseeing base.
Best time to visit
